It doesn't want to have wants, except those that Madame decrees. It doesn't want to have to worry, except for the worries Madame orders. It doesn't want to fear, unless Madame commands it to.
It doesn't want to live for itself, but for Madame. It does not want to think of itself, only of Madame. And it does not want to think for itself, only for Madame.
